Galasport Meg

One of our best selling paddles for K1 slalom, this paddle is really versatile.
Based on the Galasport Laki blade, the Meg is shorter, wider, and more rounded, producing a very stable pull through the water. This paddle is also noticeably lighter than previous blades. The Meg was designed in collaboration with two of the best Slovenian kayakers, Jure Meglic and Vid Karner.

CAD designed by Slovenian slalom coach and former K1 Slovenian team member, Aleš Kuder - the Q 18 fully carbon slalom blades are an excellent choice of paddle at the top end of competition. In addition, the Q 18 has been tested and put through its paces by the Slovenian kayak team.
The Q 18 blade is off-set to the axis of the shaft, as a result - it provides a perfectly balanced stroke, excelling at Duffek strokes..
These robust blades offer extra stability during fast and strong strokes.

The Laki Extreme Elite kayak blades were designed especially for KAYAK CROSS (CSLX).
These newly developed blades meet the criteria for the ICF CANOE SLALOM COMPETITION RULES 2023.
The blade edges have a minimum thickness of 5mm and radius of 2.5mm measured along the whole length of blade edge. In addition, the edge of the blade is filled with material which is extremely resistant to abrasion, eliminating the need for alloy edges.
These blades are specifically designed to be both strong and safe for this high paced contact sport.
