Galasport Meg

One of our best selling paddles for K1 slalom, this paddle is really versatile.
Based on the Galasport Laki blade, the Meg is shorter, wider, and more rounded, producing a very stable pull through the water. This paddle is also noticeably lighter than previous blades. The Meg was designed in collaboration with two of the best Slovenian kayakers, Jure Meglic and Vid Karner.

CAD designed by Slovenian slalom coach and former K1 Slovenian team member, Aleš Kuder - the Q 18 fully carbon slalom blades are an excellent choice of paddle at the top end of competition. In addition, the Q 18 has been tested and put through its paces by the Slovenian kayak team.
The Q 18 blade is off-set to the axis of the shaft, as a result - it provides a perfectly balanced stroke, excelling at Duffek strokes..
These robust blades offer extra stability during fast and strong strokes.

Designed specifically for the new Olympic discipline KAYAK CROSS (CLSX) are the new fully carbon Meg L CLSX ELITE blades. These blades are based on the design of best selling MEG L design.
Complying with the ICF rules for KAYAK CROSS, Galasport have designed these blades with an edge thickness of 5mm and a 2.5mm radius. The MEG L CSLX performs well in the water, guaranteeing a balanced, high quality stroke - forwards, backwards and also during Duffek stroke.
Galasport have developed the edge of the blade with special material to be both safe on impact, whilst being extremely abrasion resistant with NO alloy tips.
MEG L CSLX blades are suitable for paddlers in both men's and women's senior category, as well as for strong junior paddlers.
We recommend pairing these blades with our K1 NO SLIDE carbon shafts. These shafts do not slide in your hand and are very rigid, allowing fast acceleration.
